I think that anyone who can’t see Bitcoin’s potential, or the potential of just about any blockchain-based cryptocurrency, is blind. It could define our generation. It’s too important; don’t miss out.
If you don’t understand why, here’s a quick primer:
I’m 22 years old. I’m debt-free. I have a 401k. I know that investing in low-fee index funds is the “safe” way to make money. I know how to save, and I know I should probably open up a Roth IRA. Not too long ago I had a personal finance blog that focused on “sound” investments.
But none of that fires me up like blockchain cryptocurrencies, because they’re completely new. No one has ever done something like this before, on this scale.
The possible ubiquity of cryptocurrency in the next twenty years makes not investing – even $100 – stupid.
Sure, maybe it’s a bubble.
We could lose it all, but at least we’re willing to take that risk.
It’s a gamble, but so is life. In the very end, the house always wins.
Might as well have a little fun while we’re here.
I used to run a personal finance blog. I quickly realized there isn’t anything new to say about personal finance. Financial Samurai, Extreme Early Retirement, and Ramit Sethi had already said it, so I decided to branch off from that.
I’ll talk about the rise of cryptocurrency, the future of technology (Blockchain and AI), and how to work it all into a sound financial portfolio, if you believe that can be done.
It’s a brave new world out there, my friends.
Join me in ushering in a new era of economic prosperity.
